The challenge
An auto workshop in a small Norwegian city has many ways to be invisible. Booking, customer communication, advertising and follow-up live in separate systems that do not talk to each other. The customer feels the seams. The owner pays for it.
Visibility on its own is wasted ad spend if what meets the customer afterwards does not hold together. A customer who clicks a great ad and lands in a clunky booking flow costs more than a customer you never reached.
Din Firmabil needed visibility. What they actually needed was a coordinated system that delivers on the promise from end to end. Visibility was the consequence, not the goal.
What we delivered
One coordinated build covering every customer-facing and internal surface.
Website
Modern, fast, locally relevant. Built to be found and built to convert.
Operational system
The backbone connecting bookings, customer data, jobs and reporting in one place.
Branded, automated customer communication tied to the booking and job lifecycle.
Administration
Internal workflows that match how the workshop actually works, not how a generic tool wants it to work.
Customer portal
Self-service for booking, status, history and documents. Less time on the phone, more time in the workshop.
Tracking
Full conversion and behavior measurement so every channel is accountable.
Advertising
Paid acquisition aligned with everything else. Ads point to a system that can actually serve the lead.
Customer journey
End-to-end orchestration from first impression to repeat customer. Designed once, delivered consistently.
Delivered
Full marketing and operational stack delivered — website, system, portal, tracking, advertising and customer journey as one coordinated build.
The development
Proof of concept: search visibility took off within a three-month period. The figures are anonymised — what matters is the trend.
Search visibility
Indicative trend over a three-month period. Exact numbers and dates are intentionally left out — the point is the direction of travel.
How we built it
Speed and coherence at a price point a small business can afford, without compromising on quality.
AI-driven development
AI used throughout the build process to compress months of work into weeks while keeping the quality bar high.
Claude Code
Agentic coding for speed, consistency and disciplined refactors across the full stack.
Our proprietary system
CitationLab's own platform handles tracking, monitoring, content and growth. One system means one source of truth.
Why this matters
Visibility without delivery is a leaky bucket. You pay to fill it and then watch it drain into a customer experience that does not match the promise.
We do not believe in visibility as a stand-alone discipline. We believe in coordinated systems that deliver on the promise the advertising makes. Visibility is what happens when the system is good enough that customers come back and tell others.
Din Firmabil shows what a coordinated build means in practice. We are building more like this.
Frequently asked questions
CitationLab delivered a complete, coordinated marketing and operational stack for Din Firmabil AS in Sandefjord — covering website, operational system, email, administration, customer portal, conversion tracking, paid advertising, and the full customer journey from first impression to repeat customer.
A coordinated system means that every customer-facing and internal surface — booking, communication, advertising, follow-up — is designed to work together as one unit. There are no disconnected tools or manual hand-offs between systems.
The project used AI-driven development and Claude Code for agentic coding, combined with CitationLab's proprietary platform. This allowed months of work to be compressed into weeks without sacrificing quality.
